This Privacy Policy describes how Mazeazia collects, uses, and protects your personal information in compliance with applicable global data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

By using the platform, you consent to the practices described herein.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you provide directly, including your email address and account credentials. We also collect usage data such as prompts, generated images, and interaction data. Additionally, we collect technical data including IP address, device information, and browser type.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the platform.

3. Use of Information

We use personal information to provide and maintain the platform, improve services, communicate with users, enforce policies, and detect fraudulent or abusive activity.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers that assist in operating the platform, including hosting, storage, and payment processing providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority at any time. A list of EU data protection authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu. Exercising this right does not affect your ability to also contact us directly.

8. Your Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Mazeazia does not sell personal information.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, though no system can guarantee complete security.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the platform. The types of cookies we use include:

  • ✓Essential cookies — required for the platform to function, including session management and authentication. These cannot be disabled.
  • ✓Analytics cookies — used to understand how users interact with the platform (e.g., pages visited, features used). We may use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics.
  • ✓Functional cookies — used to remember your preferences and settings across sessions.

Analytics and functional cookies are retained for up to 13 months. You may control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time, though doing so may affect platform functionality.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.

11. Social Account Integrations

When you connect a third-party platform (such as Pinterest or TikTok) via OAuth, we store the resulting access and refresh tokens encrypted at rest. These tokens grant Mazeazia limited permission to act on your behalf on those platforms — specifically, to publish the images and videos you schedule through our calendar, and to read the basic profile information (such as your username and account identifier) needed to identify the connected account.

We do not read your private content, follower lists, direct messages, analytics, or any other data beyond what is required to publish the posts you have scheduled and to identify your connected account. We request only the OAuth scopes necessary to perform the actions you initiate, and we do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

You can revoke this access at any time through your Mazeazia Channels page or directly in the third-party platform's app permissions settings. When you disconnect, we delete the stored access and refresh tokens for that connection, mark the connection as inactive, and stop using it for any future actions. Your use of each integration is also governed by that platform's own terms of service and privacy policy — for example, TikTok's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

12. Public Content

Content that you choose to share publicly may be accessible and indexed by third parties. You acknowledge that such content may remain accessible even after removal.

13. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
